Fix both the burning oil smell and blue exhaust smoke problems associated with your WRX turbo-back exhaust or Stage 2 and higher WRX by installing the PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor. Many customers experience a burning oil problem or blue smoke coming from their exhaust after installing aftermarket J-Pipes or turbo-back exhaust systems. Installing these parts on 2015 WRX's (FA DIT engine) causes a change in exhaust pressure, allowing engine oil to escape out the turbo seals. This leaks into the exhaust creating the burning oil smell and blue smoke that many people see. Cars with J-Pipe setups experience this issue much more than cars with high-flow cars. Increase horsepower and torque without ECU recalibration or tune! This part is designed and tested to work safely on your vehicle with any tuning required! However, more power can be gained with proper ECU tuning! Confirm any tune or recalibration you add is specific for ALL modifications added to the vehicle.

The PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor makes the turbo sump pump more effective at sucking oil out of the turbo sump. This in turn creates a slight vacuum on the turbo sump creating a proper balance of exhaust pressure and vacuum on the turbo seals, significantly reducing the amount of leaking around the turbo seals. This does not change the oil flow to the turbo in any way. Since drivers have been installing turbo-back exhausts on 2015 FA DIT WRX's, there have been both burning oil smell and blue exhaust smoke issues. After a short period of time, we found a great solution in the form of the PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor. We wanted to make sure we could come up with an effective solution and tested our solution over the course of two years. We now feel confident releasing this product to the public!

PLEASE NOTE

This PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor will not fix blue smoke due to a blown engine.
